Requirements:

Basic knowledge of digital data transmission.
Initial experience in structured programming (C, C++, C#, Java).
Knowledge of CANoe and CAPL programming.
Before attending this training course, we recommend that you attend the CANoe practical training course (course no.: G-LADM_EE11).

Background to the introduction of Ethernet as a network protocol in the automotive industry
Realization of the physical layer (100Base-T1, 1000Base-TX)
Basics of Ethernet protocol and VLAN tagging
Basics of the Internet Protocol (IP)
Basics of transport protocols (UDP, TCP)
Overview of additional protocols (DHCP, ARP...)
Basics of the automotive protocols SOME / IP and DoIP
Basics of AVB / TSN
Automotive Ethernet in CANoe / CANalyzer
Introduction to Wireshark

Important information:

Please provide a second screen for the online training sessions.
You will need Citrix access; you will receive the instructions in good time for the appointment.

Training objectives:

You will learn the basics of the various relevant OSI layers.
You will gain an insight into the practical use of Automotive Ethernet application protocols such as SOME / IP, DoIP, AVB and TSN.
You will consolidate what you have learned in practical exercises.

Duration: 3 days of 5 hours each (15 hours)

Teaching method: Live-Online-Training in a small group with a maximum of 4 to 7 participants.

Certificate: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
