The Bertrandt ODX training provides you with comprehensive insights into the ODX standard, the structure of ODX files and categories, areas of application, interfaces, benefits and performance in vehicle diagnostics as well as history and background (ASAM, MCD).

Target group: Developers and users in the diagnostic environment who need a deeper understanding of the ODX standard. 

Please note the requirements and prior knowledge!

Requirements: Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics is a requirement for participation. You can obtain this knowledge in the vehicle diagnostics training.

  • Goal / benefit of ODX
  • ASAM and MCD standard
  • Differentiation from OTX
  • Brief introduction to XML and UML
  • ODX data model
  • ODX categories
  • Linking and inheritance (references) in ODX
  • DOPs (Data Object Properties) and conversion methods
  • ODX files, data pool and PDX
  • Authoring guidelines
  • Authoring tools and manufacturers

Important information:

  • Please provide a second screen for the online training sessions.
  • Citrix access, you will receive the before the appointment.

Training objectives:

  • You will gain a basic overview of the objectives of ODX.
  • You will learn about the possible uses of ODX in the development process.
  • You will gain comprehensive knowledge of the ODX data model and the individual ODX categories.
  • You will gain an overview of authoring guidelines, tools and manufacturers.

Duration: 2 days of 4,5 hours each (9 hours)

Teaching method: Live-Online-Training in a small group with a maximum of 4 to 7 participants.

Certificate: Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Participation fee: Euro 600,00 per person plus tax.

Group training: We will be happy to make you an offer on request.
