This SCN-Encore training provides a compact overview of the overall coding process, tools, correlations and procedures as well as the necessary user knowledge for using EDLS.Encore to create, maintain and validate code rules, versions and releases.

Participants bring their own PCs with ENCORE client software installed
Participants have the required access authorizations

Basics of SCN coding
Compatibility of coding data and functional software
Bundling method of coding data
DOK method for SCN coding
Interaction of the ODXStudio, ENCORE, EDLS and Dialog-E systems
Role concept (admin, developer, documentalist, data user)
Merge, comparison and code rule assistant
Versioning and release of coding data
Working methods for genset and body control units
Validation options (DQST, 4-eyes test, coding string analysis)
Scheduling in Encore
Creation of AED files for the Monaco tester

Training objectives:

You gain an overview of the interrelationships in SCN coding
You will get to know the possibilities of the ENCORE tool
You will learn the requirements for ENCORE activation
You will receive information about supporting expert tools and further training opportunities

Duration: 2 days (currently as live online training 3 days)

Teaching method: Live-Online-Training in a group of 6 to a maximum of 12 participants.

Certificate: As proof of successful participation, you will receive a confirmation of participation for reporting to Mercedes-Benz.

Participation fee: 920 Euro per person plus tax.
