The development of aeronautical products is the responsibility of development companies that have been approved by EASA. The requirements for these approved development organizations are defined in EU Regulation No. 748/2012 and its amendments.

Target group: The training is aimed at employees in quality management, managers and employees in aviation companies.

  • Basic Regulatory Framework (ICAO, EASA, LBA, Hard Law, Soft Law, AMC, Definitions…)
  • Aviation Organisations (DO, PO, CAMO, MO, MTO)

    - Organisation (Roles and Responsibilities, Management Staff)
    - Independent System Monitoring (Audit, Compliance Monitoring)
    - Type Certification (Certification Basis, Compliance Declaration)
    - Changes to Type Design (Classification, Approval of Change)
    - Repairs
    - Design Process
    - Compliance Demonstration
    - Permit to Fly
    - Coordination between DO/PO/MO
    - Document Control
    - Continued Airworthiness
    - Design Suppliers

Training objectives: 

  • In two days you will receive an introduction to the processes, organizational requirements and their entrepreneurial implementation necessary for a development organization in accordance with EASA Part 21J.
