Adequate checking and testing of software is an essential part of modern software development. Solid training is essential in order to meet the desired quality and cost requirements. The Certified Tester Foundation Level course provides a comprehensive overview of the topic of software testing, with the content closely aligned with the curriculum of the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB). This enables standardized terminology and consistent coverage of the subject area. This training, which is indispensable for the classic software tester, is therefore also highly recommended for other project participants, as they need to know the specific problems in software testing in order to be able to discuss solutions with the software testing experts from their point of view.

FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is one of the most frequently used quality management tools in industry. It examines parts, systems, processes and assembly procedures to determine which failures could occur. It now also covers the criticality point from the FMECA as standard and serves as direct input for downstream safety analyses.

The lecturer will present the current content of the international ASD specification S4000PTM Issue 2.0, which completely replaces and extends the predecessor specification ASD S4000PTM Issue 1.0. On this basis, analysis examples will be developed and worked on together with participants in workshops in order to make the individual analytical procedures for technically complex products understandable in practice.

The lecture and workshop are designed in such a way that questions from the group can be addressed at any time, which contributes to a deeper understanding of the participants.

Please note: This workshop is specifically designed for users of the ASD S4000PTM specification and includes the course content of "GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO ASD S4000PTM" (LG6).
