FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)

FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is one of the most frequently used quality management tools in industry. It examines parts, systems, processes and assembly procedures to determine which failures could occur. It now also covers the criticality point from the FMECA as standard and serves as direct input for downstream safety analyses.
